We are excited to spend every week in the forest with your children! However, we know that life is unpredictable and we allow ourselves 2 days of paid leave due to sickness or emergency.

Please let Miss Heather know if you would be interested in substituting.

Stories and Seasons
Art Classes

ForestCreatures (23).png

Hello! Welcome to Spindlewood Cottage School art classes. I am so excited to have your child/children join me on this imaginative and fun adventure as we explore rich stories and seasonal observations together through art.  We will learn and grow so much together.

Goals and Purpose

I have always enjoyed creating.  As a child, my grandma and aunt were artists and taught me many skills, probably the most important of which was observation, and believing in myself as an artist. I hope to pass this mindset on to my students.  I firmly believe everyone can create.  Our class will be a safe space where imagination will guide us as we explore rich stories and beauty found in the world around us. This class will be very influenced by the Waldorf philosophy of education.
